The Streaming Light Fellowship Weekly Newsletter

Pastor’s Corner
Beloved subscribers, welcome to another weekly newsletter from the Streaming Light Fellowship, where salvation is available in high definition and the spirit moves at 120 frames per second. Remember, our creed is simple: no collars, no hymns, only baseball caps, and curated playlists.
Upcoming Events
- Potluck & Popcorn Supper: Friday evening in the Multiplex Hall. Bring your favorite concession stand item. Nachos, pretzels, and refillable sodas encouraged. Communion wafers will be replaced with artisanal kettle corn.
- Clothing Drive: Sunday after service. We are collecting gently used hoodies, branded caps, and Disney merchandise. Please, no robes or hymnals. Those belong to denominational archives.
- Youth Ministry: The youth group will host a Marvel Marathon. Each film will be followed by a brief devotional on the cosmic battle between good and evil, with popcorn refills serving as sacraments.
Announcements
- Choir Update: The choir has been rebranded as “The Karaoke Collective.” Weekly rehearsals will feature Disney ballads and TikTok dance challenges.
- Bible Study: Our new series, Streaming the Scriptures, will compare parables to Pixar shorts. This week: “The Prodigal Son” and Finding Nemo.
- Volunteer Opportunities: Ushers needed to manage concession lines and distribute branded merchandise. Training includes popcorn scooping and soda refill etiquette.
